What I found interesting about this pattern was that it was 'sized for the larger hip'. That didnt make much difference to me, because I would have to size it up any way.

The fabric is a wool rayon blend which gives it great drape. I used some left over silk I had to make the vestee and line the flutter sleeves. The dress turned out great. Even made the belt, but didnt wear it to the event I made the dress for. I Just didnt need it.
Everyone said I have the look down, which was a great compliment because I tried real hard with this one.
I made cotton flannel shields for the dress because I made it a bit too snug to wear my normal t shirt beneath it.
