The final is done in this lush deep red silk (much like the original 30s pattern picture) and came out great.

I was so nervous about sewing in silk. Id never sewn a fabric that delicate and was worried my serger would destroy it. But all came out fine.

Look at the sheen of that silk, wow!

I put interfacing in the collar so it would be a but more stiff.

She wasnt able to wear it to the event it was made for, but I hope soon to see her in it.
