I made this suit from one of my repro patterns. I made it using a warm toned gray wool gaberdine and a turquoise velvet. The original pattern said it was made for the 'short' woman, but I made it and I'm not short nor did I have to lenghten anything. The jacket I finished with one yellow bakelite button.

I even made a beret out of wool, and put flowers that I made in my hair of the same bright yellow. |
I made this outfit for an event this May, and it was a big hit. I do plan on making this pattern again. |
