Okay, I have intently been working on craftsmanship the more I sew. Paying attention to seams, hems by hand, the fold of seams, etc. This shirt gave me practice in some of those techniques.

It is the modified bodice from the dress, but I redrafted the front and facing pieces to a shawl collar. With that, I made sure to line the white fabric for the collar, because I didn't want the grid fabric showing through.

I also deepened the tucks in the back and front, giving it a more shapely look. Im pretty happy with this blouse.

One touch Im especially proud of is paying attention to the turning of the front/facing seams. I made sure, at the collar fold that the white of the collar was slightly folded over the seam instead of the grid print, which is folded over where the buttons are. *That* is the type of details Im trying to carry on in all of my sewing work.
