I didnt have enough fabric to finish the entire shirt (its a great vintage plaid) so I used the grey blue on the yolk and collar. I swear, I need to lay off the plaid. More solid colors. The problem was the facing. It folds over in a strange and funky way that I thought was just silly, so in future designs, Im going to make it differently. Also because Im more curvy than the pattern called for, I curved the button facing and front of the shirt slightly to accommodate my hips. Worked great. |

This was also my first go at really paying attention to the collars and the cuff flap. I think they turned out rather well and they were not as hard as I thought they were going to be. |

The fun part was picking buttons for it! I had these great blue vintage buttons that are glass! So I was real happy at how well they looked! |
