This was originally a dress that I made from a wonderful fabric. It was early in my sewing tenure, I didnt really like the dress, and in leu of my more 40's look, here you go, a new shirt.

I love that I took this and made it into something new that I will wear again! Make due and mend, as I like to think.

I kept the piping (I LOVE PIPING!) on the sleeves and used it to make a line down the middle of the back. I had cut out all the pieces successfully, but then I accidentally cut out the pockets using one of the front pieces! So I had to do some mending...
